Another one of my favorite vendors at the show is nComputing. I have been following their products for several years now and I see this as a great option to add workstations at a district for a very minimal cost.
The recently released X550 product consists of a PCI card for the host computer that connects the five client extenders. Up to two kits can be installed in the host system letting you expand a single traditional computer into 11 dedicated workstations.

Here is an Interactive response system. They have a K12 grant that will drop the price of a 30 device system for $399. Although this market is full of similar products at the price after the grant $399 is really inexpensive. The Grant is available for K12 Education and is available if you want one or 100 systems.

Faronics has been a regular stop on my Interop tour for several years. With the threat of conficker it is worth a look at 'Anti-Executable' program. It will allow IT people to specify the only applications a workstation can run. Their Enterprise console manages most application with all coming soon.
Rumor is Deep Freeze 6.5 may be available by mid June

Here is a product that will 'stream' applications to desktops. The most exciting thing I see with this product is the ability for students at home be able to run school software even it they don't have that software on their home system.

Here is a company that has several promising solutions. Take a look at their cell phone security products that can prevent problem txt from being sent. This would have to be parent purchases, installed and managed, but with school sponsorship it may control many problems.

Transparent in-line filtering means very minimal impact on browsing performance.
Another great benefit about this product is that it will capture the workstation screen as a video when specific rules are met. So if you have s student someplace they are not suppose to be you have a video of their computer screen to determine just exactly what they were doing.
